Some critics and parents think Obama is trying to persuade kids on his agendas. After listening to his speech, I can't imagine any intention other than heart-felt, empathic encouragement for students to stay in school. Although he brings up a lot of High Schoolers, this speech is a good earful for college students who face much larger dropout rates than grade school.
Today is my first day in school! Boy, I'm excited.

I totally agree! I mean I really don't think elementary age kids really understand what an "agenda" is in the first place- but I think that with so many online easy programs to get your GED out there, that this country is really lacking in the education department. Plus hello- half the kids graduated can't freaking spell.
